Sara Vieira was born in Lisbon, Portugal, on May 18, 1975.
She loves to draw, to paint and to write since ever.
In spite of not having initially opted for a profession linked to the world of visual arts, has always been lost on the planet of papers, canvas, pencils and brushes. Attended the graduation of Sociology at FCSH, of New University of Lisbon. She was journalist with professional card for about a decade.
Today, writes and paints. Devotes herself entirely to these two forms of Art.
In the branch of painting, had self training until relatively recently, when decided / wanted / felt the need to attend the Course / Atelier of Drawing and Painting of P. F. with the teacher Sandra Ramos (with a degree by the University of Fine Arts in Lisbon). Course where she learnes the techniques of drawing pencil, charcoal, graphite, ink from china, dry pastel, oil pastel and watercolor painting, acrylic painting, oi painting and mixed technique.
Since 2007 she began to explain her work, to sell some works and to accept orders.
Her next project is to publish a book of stories for adults and another for children, illustrated by her, and continue to paint and participating in more exhibitions.

Believes that "our heads are round so that our thoughts can change direction”, as the famous Picabaia told once, and to describe it and describe the world nothing better than to use the hands, the colors and the words ...

Experience in Visual Arts:
- Drawing Award (1º), assigned by the BPA (Banco Portugês do Atlântico) in 1988.
- Collective Exhibition of Painting in the Parish Board of Campolide (Lisbon), incorporated into the celebrations of the International Women's Day, in March 2007.
- Collective Exhibition of Painting at the Cultural Forum of Alcochete, selected the Competition "The April 25 - Contemporany Visions" 2nd edition, April / May 2008.- Collective Exhibition of Painting in Kabuki Galery, in the Anjos (Lisbon), selected the Competition "Angels in the Art Exhibition 2008", 1st edition, from September 26 to November 22, 2008.
-"1st Premium Collective Exhibition of Galeria Aberta.com", in Hotel Albatroz, Cascais, December 2008.
- Collective Exhibition /Competition "Creative Youth", 1st edition, organized by the Department of Youth of City Council of Montijo, in the Municipal Museum of Montijo, from February 13 to March 31 of 2009.
- Collective Exhibition in Papelaria Fernandes of Rua do Ouro, Lisbon, March 2009.

Other considerations:
- Literary Prize (2º) allocated by the editorial "Caminho" in 1988.
- In 2007, was invited by the Parish Board of Campolide (Lisbon) to join a restricted group of support / help in drafting its Cultural Agenda.
- She wrote the foreword (prefacio) of the book "Wings of Butterflies" by João Cordeiro, (2008).
